Halo Inhalers – A Desktop Salt Cave

$550.00

The SolaVita salt halo inhaler recreates the air of a natural salt cave by converting ordinary table salt into a dry saline aerosol that is delivered directly into the respiratory tract. The tiny salt particles, when entering the airways, trigger the body’s natural cleansing and recovery processes without the need for medications or antibiotics.

Chronic bronchopulmonary pathology in the phase of subsiding, sluggish exacerbation, remission, and acute respiratory diseases with a prolonged course:

  • chronic non-obstructive and obstructive bronchitis (CNB and COB);
  • bronchial asthma (BA) with various clinical and pathogenetic variants of course;
  • pollinosis with respiratory symptoms;
  • bronchiectasis;
  • cystic fibrosis;
  • acute bronchitis with a prolonged course;
  • pneumonia with a prolonged course

  • occupational exposure to pollutants;
  • smoking-related cough;
  • irritative and/or allergic reactions of the respiratory tract caused by prolonged exposure to various irritating compounds;
  • initial obstructive disorders according to pulmonary function tests (PFT).

How the Halo Inhaler Works

Designed to generate and deliver a dry salt aerosol to the patient’s respiratory tract during halotherapy of the respiratory system.

A rotating blade grinds table salt. The ground salt moves from the removable cup into the space under the lid and forms an aerosol of a certain concentration. During inhalation, the resulting aerosol enters the patient’s respiratory system through a flexible tube, providing the necessary therapeutic effect.

  1. Improves the fluidity of bronchial secretions, contributing to the normalization of mucociliary clearance.
  2. Enhances the drainage function of the respiratory tract: facilitates sputum discharge, reduces its viscosity, eases coughing, and changes the auscultatory picture in the lungs.
  3. Exerts bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects on the respiratory tract microflora, stimulates alveolar macrophage reactions, promoting an increase in phagocytic elements and enhancing their phagocytic activity.
  4. Thins mucus, thereby creating conditions for its faster removal from the respiratory organs along with pollutants, bacteria, and viruses, preventing them from initiating disease.

The halo inhaler offers the choice of one of two therapeutic modes as prescribed by a physician. The duration of one inhalation session is 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The mode and duration of treatment are prescribed after diagnosis and assessment of the patient’s current condition, taking into account the nosological form, its course characteristics, and PFT indicators.
